I was raised in and around Chicago, lived briefly in Manhattan and settled in San Francisco. Years of writing feature articles, vaguely compromising first-person essays, marketing copy and flat-out spin doctoring heightened my interest in the narrative aspects of visual art. It's all about the story.

Now I live the country-ish part of Marin County—bright sun, deep fog and a lot of deer.
